This third part of Age of Empires focuses on the era of discovery, setting aside the old world and challenge to enter the new continent unexplored with their richness by exploiting some indigenous to conquer. This multiplies the chances of the game and increases their approach, establishing a relationship between metropolis and colony as one of the novelties of the game.

Possibly the most powerful and striking in Age of Empires III is its stunning graphics. Actually the quality with which the environments and characters is superb again and again to appreciate the unique style that has always had this saga. The buildings are full and textures are incredibly detailed and realistic, the animations are not left behind, it is a delight to see and move the soldiers of both armies and animals that inhabit the different sets.

But if anything deserves to be mentioned it is the recital of excellent and realistic effects that hides the game, such as smoke or water, can appreciate this from the waves to the reflection of the boats. Also noteworthy was the physics engine that incorporates this third part, because now we can destroy the buildings. The only bad although logical, is that to fully enjoy all this visual spectacle you will need quite a powerful team.

This version has several bugs and lacks some features present in version 1.1, like some out-of-sync bugs and multiplayer scenarios.
